Cali Grillz LLC uses the Cali Grillz and Cali Jewelers names ("we," "us," or "our") and operates this store and website, including its related information, content, features, tools, products and services (the "Services"). Our store is powered by Shopify. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and disclose personal information when you visit or use the Services, make a purchase or other transaction, or communicate with us. If this Privacy Policy conflicts with our Terms of Service, this Privacy Policy governs the collection, processing and disclosure of personal information.

• Device and usage information: your device, browser, network connection, IP address, other identifiers, and information about how and when you interact with the Services.

Where personal information comes from

We collect information directly from you when you browse, place an order, create an account, send custom-order materials or contact us. We also receive information automatically through your use of the Services, including through cookies and similar technologies; from service providers that process information on our behalf; and from partners or other third parties involved in providing the Services.

How we use personal information

• Providing and improving the Services: to process payments; make, fulfill and ship orders; use your impressions and instructions to make and fit custom pieces; manage accounts; remember preferences; respond to order or fit issues; facilitate reviews; recommend products; and improve the shopping experience. References to order adjustments or fit support do not change our separate order, refund or refit terms.
• Marketing and advertising: to send promotional communications where permitted and consistent with applicable preferences, and to show or personalize advertisements on our Services or other websites. This may involve information about your browsing, cart or purchase activity.
• Security and fraud prevention: to authenticate accounts, protect payments and the Services, investigate suspected fraud or misuse, and protect customers and our business.

• Legal matters and business transactions: in connection with a merger or other business transaction, to meet legal obligations or respond to valid legal process, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of the Services, our customers or others.

Our relationship with Shopify

Shopify hosts the Services and collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of them to provide and improve the Services. Information submitted through the Services is transmitted to Shopify and may be shared with other service providers, including in countries outside your country of residence.

We also use Shopify enhanced features to help protect, grow and improve our business. These features can incorporate information about your interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify, including for personalization and advertising. For this processing, Shopify is responsible for your personal information and for responding to applicable requests about that use. Information relating to customers under 18

Our custom-order process may involve personal information relating to a customer under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and have questions or concerns about information provided by or about your child, contact support@caligrillz.com. You may use this contact route to ask about access, correction or deletion of that information, subject to applicable law and any identity or authority verification needed to handle the request.

Security and retention

No security measure or transmission method is completely secure. Please do not send sensitive or confidential information through insecure channels, and keep account access details private.

We discard physical dental impressions on a weekly schedule. This schedule applies to the physical impressions, not to Shopify orders, digital records, photographs or support correspondence.

How long we retain other personal information depends on the purpose for which it is held, including providing the Services, maintaining an account, handling order and fit issues, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes and enforcing agreements. You can contact us about information associated with your order and available deletion rights.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or know the personal information we hold about you; request its deletion; correct inaccurate information; receive a portable copy; or opt out of certain uses. These rights may be subject to legal conditions and exceptions.

Sale, sharing and targeted advertising. Depending on your location, you may have a right to opt out of activities considered a "sale," "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under applicable privacy laws. Shopify describes how its privacy controls recognize applicable Global Privacy Control signals as opt-out requests for the device and browser sending them, and may apply a request to an associated Shopify account. This description of Shopify's controls does not describe how every independent third-party website or service handles browser signals.

Communications. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe option in those emails. Opting out of marketing does not prevent transactional messages about your account, order or other service matters.

Additional rights in the United Kingdom and European Economic Area. Subject to applicable conditions and exceptions, you may object to or request restrictions on processing. Where processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw that consent; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Depending on where you live, you may also complain to your local data protection authority. The European Data Protection Board maintains a list of EEA supervisory authorities.

International processing

Our store is based in the United States. Personal information may be stored or processed in the United States and other countries where Shopify and service providers operate. These countries may have data protection rules that differ from those where you live.
